Yes. Turn on the welcome text in settings and every new Close contact with a phone number gets one text right away. It's off until you turn it on, each contact gets it once, and after 25 in an hour it pauses so an import doesn't text everyone.
No. Texts go out through iBlueText, so there are no Close SMS charges. Close shows them as external SMS activities.
Click Connect Close, sign in to Close, pick your organization and click Allow, then sign in to iBlueText or create a free account. There is no API key to copy. A Close admin should connect it, so the Text with iBlueText link gets added for everyone.
The integration is free. Every new iBlueText account gets free trial texts with no card. A dedicated line is $99 a month hosted by us, or $29 a month on your own Mac. WhatsApp also comes both ways: on your own phones for $19 a month per block of 5 numbers (self-hosted), or a number we host for $49 a month on a line or $99 a month on its own. Mix and match any way you like.
Click Disconnect on the iBlueText settings page. We revoke our Close access, remove our webhook and the Text with iBlueText link right away, and erase the stored Close data 10 days later.
