Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026 · iBlueText is a product of RG Loomis LLC ("RG Loomis," "iBlueText," "we," "us," "our").

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices. By creating an account, using the Service, installing our widget, or completing a verification, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service. This Policy is incorporated into the Terms.

iBlueText SMS (our Android app)

iBlueText SMS turns an Android phone into a texting line for iBlueText Bridge, our app that runs on your own Mac. When you make iBlueText SMS the phone's default texting app, it reads, sends and stores that phone's text messages (SMS), as any texting app does.

• Where your texts go. After you pair the phone with your Mac, texts the phone receives, and texts your Mac asks it to send, travel directly between the phone and your Mac over your local network, encrypted (HTTPS pinned to your Mac's certificate). The app does not send them to RG Loomis LLC's servers or to anyone else, and we cannot read them.
• Phone status. The app tells your paired Mac its app version, Android version, battery level and carrier name, so the Mac can show whether the phone is healthy. This goes to your Mac only.
• Contacts. If you allow it, the app reads your contacts only to show names instead of numbers on the phone. Contacts never leave the phone.
• No ads or tracking. The app contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code. We don't sell or share this data.
• What your Mac does next. Once messages reach iBlueText Bridge on your Mac, the settings you choose there (for example forwarding replies to your CRM, or AI replies) apply, as described in the rest of this policy.
• Your control. Messages are stored on the phone and on your Mac. You can delete conversations in the app, unpair the phone, switch the default texting app back (which stops all access immediately), or uninstall the app.

iBlueText: Messaging CRM (our iPhone and Android app)

The iBlueText: Messaging CRM app lets you use your iBlueText account from your phone: read and answer your conversations, manage contacts and see your numbers. It works with the data already in your account; it does not read your phone's own text messages, call log or address book.

• Sign-in. You sign in with your iBlueText email and password, or with Sign in with Apple / Google. With Apple or Google we receive only the account ID and email address they share with us, to find or link your iBlueText account. The app keeps a sign-in token in the phone's secure storage.
• Your account data. Conversations, contacts, notes, tags, pipeline items and appointments you view or create in the app are stored in your iBlueText account on our servers, the same as when you use the website.
• Camera. Used only when you choose to take a photo to send or to scan a business card. Business cards are read on the phone; the card photo is never uploaded. Only the contact details you choose to save are sent to your account.
• Microphone. Used only while you record a voice message you choose to send.
• Photos. The system photo picker gives the app only the photos you pick to send; the app has no access to the rest of your library.
• Contacts. When you pick a contact to text, the system contact picker shares only that one contact with the app. The app does not read or upload your address book.
• Calendar. When you book an appointment and choose "Add to my phone's calendar", the app adds that one event. It does not read your calendar.
• Face ID / fingerprint. If you turn on the app lock, your phone checks your face or fingerprint itself; the app only learns whether it succeeded.
• Notifications. If you turn on notifications, we store your phone's push token with your account so we can tell you when a contact replies. The notification shows the contact's name or number and the start of their message. Signing out removes the token.
• AI assistant. If you choose to use the in-app assistant, your question and the account details needed to answer it are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the answer. The app asks for your permission before the first question.
• No ads or tracking. The app contains no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking code, and we don't sell or share this data.
• Deleting your account. You can delete your account in the app (More → Settings → Delete account) or on the web at ibluetext.com/delete-account. We delete your account and its data within 7 days, except records we must keep by law (for example payment records).

iBlueText Texting (our Wix app)

When a site owner installs iBlueText Texting from the Wix App Market and connects it to an iBlueText account:

• What we receive. Wix sends us notices about new orders, bookings and form submissions on that site. From them we use only what is needed to send the texts the owner switched on: the customer's first name, phone number, order or booking details (such as order number, tracking link, service, date and time) and the site's name. We may look up a contact's phone number in the site's Wix contacts when an order or form doesn't include one.
• How we use it. Only to send the site owner's automatic texts (confirmations, reminders, shipping updates, replies to leads and alerts to the owner) and to show the owner a history of those texts. We don't sell it, use it for our own marketing, or share it with anyone except the carriers and messaging networks that deliver the texts.
• How long we keep it. The raw notice from Wix is discarded once it has been processed. The texts sent and their status stay in the owner's iBlueText account like any other message, so the owner can see them. When the app is removed, scheduled texts are canceled. Site owners and their customers can ask us to delete this data at any time by emailing russ@ibluetext.com; we do so within 30 days.
• Opt-out. A customer who replies STOP is never texted again by that business.

1. Information we collect

Account & business information

Your name, email, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash), API/site keys, business details, and billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers).

Contacts you upload, message, or verify

Phone numbers and optional names, emails, and fields you upload or that are collected when an end user completes a verification through our widget or API. For each verification we also record a proof-of-consent record: the phone number, the iMessage/Android result, date/time, the end user's IP address, the originating website and page URL, the consent text shown, and the user agent.

Usage & technical data

Message, lookup, and verification activity, delivery and reply data, log data, IP address, device/browser information, and cookies/pixels used to keep you signed in, secure the Service, and measure marketing (including the Meta/Facebook pixel on our marketing pages).

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service (lookups, sending, verification, replies, analytics).
• To verify identities and phone numbers (one-time codes) and to prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
• To create and store consent records and enable you to export your contacts.
• To process payments and manage your subscription and credits.
• To enforce our Terms and comply with law, carrier, and Apple requirements.
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service.

3. Consent to be contacted

When an end user completes a verification or otherwise provides a phone number through the Service, that user consents to be contacted via SMS, text message, and iMessage by RG Loomis LLC, iBlueText, the originating app or website (our Client), and the partners, affiliates, associated companies, and subsidiaries of each of the foregoing, for transactional and (where the user has opted in) marketing purposes. Message and data rates may apply. To opt out, reply STOP at any time and you will be removed; UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, and END are also honored.

4. Data ownership

Phone numbers, names, emails, and consent records collected through the Service are owned jointly by the originating website/app owner (our Client) and RG Loomis LLC. Each may use that data as permitted by this Policy and the Terms. Clients may export their contacts at any time and are responsible for handling exported data lawfully.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We share data only:

• With the Client whose form/site collected a verification (the contact and its consent record belong to them);
• With service providers that help run iBlueText (e.g., Stripe for payments; hosting and messaging infrastructure), under confidentiality obligations;
• With RG Loomis affiliates, partners, and subsidiaries consistent with this Policy and the user's consent;
• When required by law or to protect rights, safety, the Service, or to respond to carriers, Apple, or legal process;
• In a business transfer (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets).

6. Data security

We protect data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, encrypted-at-rest secrets stored outside the public web root, access controls, and monitoring. Verification codes are generated and hashed such that the plaintext code is never stored on our web servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

7. Data retention & deletion

We retain account, contact, consent, and usage data while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, compliance, and security purposes (consent records in particular may be retained to evidence consent). You may request deletion of your account and associated data at ibluetext.com/delete-account, in our mobile app, or by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize it within 7 days except where retention is legally required.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on your location (including under the CCPA/CPRA and GDPR where applicable), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of certain processing or "sales/sharing" (note: we do not sell). End users may opt out of messaging by replying STOP. To exercise rights, contact us; we may need to verify your identity, and for end users we may direct requests to the relevant Client as the data controller of their contacts.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

We operate in the United States; if you use the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to processing your data in the U.S. The Service and its compliance features are designed primarily for U.S. messaging.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date and continued use means acceptance.
